A restaurant buyout gives you access to all of our usable spaces, both indoor and outdoor. With our historical building and uniquely tucked away location, THE CHASTAIN gives you multiple areas to create a memorable experience. A buyout offers you the flexibility to curate these spaces in a number of different ways specific to your event needs.

1946 ROOM  |  Lower Level
Our 1946 Room is fully private and located on the lower level of the restaurant. This space offers a cozy, secluded area with your choice of a private outdoor entrance direct from Valet or use of the main entrance and indoor staircase just off the main dining room. The 1946 Room features a log burning gas fireplace, its own restrooms and foyer. Integrated audio-visual with a large LCD monitor for presentations, slideshows or a special video.. The South Terrace, when used in conjunction with the 1946 Room, creates a seamless outdoor addition to this space in which you can use to create a reception or cocktail hour prior to your private dinner or event. *Please note the 1946 Room is not handicap accessible.

OLD OAK TERRACE  |  Outdoor Space
Our Old Oak Terrace is the largest of our outdoor spaces. It is fully covered and can be enclosed, and heated. This terrace is nestled within the lush landscape of our property, adjacent to our main dining room and offers several options for event setup. From a small contracted party to a partial or full buyout of this terrace, you can be sure to enjoy its charm.

SOUTH TERRACE  |  Outdoor Space
Our South Terrace is the terrace directly south of our large arched window, adjacent to our outdoor fire pit. It is set against the backdrop of the restaurant, with string lights overhead, and within the tall green foliage that creates a magical atmosphere as the sun sets. This area can be sectioned off or used in combination with several of our other spaces including our fully private 1946 Room which can be accessed directly from this terrace through a private back entrance.

FRONT TERRACE  |  Outdoor Umbrellaed
This terrace space is located directly in front of our main entrance. Set in the heart of our property, it gives you a prime location, with an intimate feel. It is quaint, yet lively, ideal for a smaller semi-private party.

FIRE PIT  |  Outdoor Space
Our smallest yet one of our Guests favorite spots to kick back, relax and enjoy THE CHASTAIN as the weather cools. This space has a large circular open gas fire-pit with an outer ledge perfect for placing drinks and small bites. This area is great for small gatherings with family, friends or an intimate reception before or after a special dinner in the main dining room.
